New waste separation system in the PreZero Arena

Around 3.6 tonnes of waste are generated on a home match day in the PreZero Arena - quite a lot, and it shouldn't just be thrown away. In the future, TSG Hoffenheim will work together with sustainability partner PreZero to ensure clean waste separation in the arena, because environmental protection and sustainability are just as important to TSG as they are to its partner PreZero.

The new waste separation system in the PreZero Arena will be used for the first at the home match against RB Leipzig on 5 November, meaning the club will be able to recycle waste even more effectively than in the past. Every single spectator can help on our common path towards sustainability by putting the right waste in the right bin. General waste should be separated into paper/cardboard, plastic/plastic and residual waste. Information boards on correct separation are located at the collection points. This enables #PreZero to reuse and recycle as much of the waste as possible. The new project is intended to raise awareness among stadium visitors of the need to deal responsibly with the resources contained in waste.
