Baumgartner: ''We made it too easy for Frankfurt''

Oliver Baumann: ''After making quite a decent start we just found ourselves overrun and all at sea. Every ball they played forward was dangerous. We weren't good enough today. We lacked bite and weren't strong enough in the tackle. We came out strong from the dressing room at half-time, but then we conceded another goal. We haven't picked up enough points from our last few games. We have to make progress quickly and improve across the board. Today, unfortunately, the performance just wasn't there.''

Christoph Baumgartner: ''We actually played really well in the first five minutes, but then we gave the ball away and fell behind. Frankfurt did really well. After conceding the first goal, we couldn't find a way to bounce back. They posed a threat every time they attacked, but we also made it too easy for them. We really wanted to get back into the game, and we even managed to pull back to within a goal. But after they went 4-2 up, things became difficult. Frankfurt were good for their win today."

André Breitenreiter (TSG Hoffenheim coach): "It was a deserved win for Frankfurt. We started very well in the first five minutes and didn't let Eintracht have the ball. Then two individual mistakes put us 2-0 down. With the way they're playing at the moment, Frankfurt really taught us a lesson. We could have conceded more goals. Our performances at the moment are not good enough to compete with the best teams in Europe. We made some changes at half-time, came out of the dressing room well and scored a quick goal to make it 3-2. But then we were unlucky, we slipped a lot and that's how they scored to make it 4-2. The result is fair."

Oliver Glasner (Eintracht Frankfurt coach): "I'm very happy with the win today and thrilled with our offensive play. We created some excellent chances. We dominated Hoffenheim in the first half, yet after 46 minutes the score was 3-2. They were cheap goals to concede, which made it an open game. However, we responded really well to the setback. Defensively, however, we were not as solid from the 38th minute onwards. We will have a critical look back at what happened. Still, I am obviously happy with how it went today."
