Fan information for the game in Leipzig

The Hoffenheim fan representatives have compiled all the important information to prepare away drivers for TSG's match against Leipzig (Sunday, 19:30 CET).

Fan items

The following items are allowed in the away section during the game in Leipzig:

  • a maximum of 25 small flags with a pole length up to a maximum of 2.00 metres
  • 5 large swivel flags with a pole length of over 2.00 metres
  • Fence flags / fan club banners, as long as space is available
  • Only transparent adhesive strips or tape is to be used

Coronavirus rules

Since 2 April, the restrictions on admission have been removed and there is no longer any obligation to wear a mask.

Directions and parking

Getting to the stadium:

RB Leipzig recommends that away fans take the A9 motorway to the Leipzig-West exit, head towards the B181 via Merseburger Straße, Rückmarsdorfer Straße and Hans-Driesch-Straße to the Red Bull Arena.

Cars:

There is no designated guest car park. In addition, parking facilities in the vicinity of the stadium are very limited.

We recommend that you drive to the marked park-and-ride car parks at "Leipziger Messe", "Schönauer Ring", "Plovdiv Straße", "Völkerschlachtdenkmal" and "Lausen" in the city and use public transport to get to the stadium.

Buses:

Away fans arriving by bus should get on off in the "Landauer Brücke" area. Stewards will be on hand to guide you to the away section of the stadium. The fan buses will park on "am Cottaweg".

Public transportation:

The tickets allow holders to use MDV public transport of the throughout the city (zone 110) for four hours before and four hours after the match. The Red Bull Arena is served by tram lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 7. 8 and 15 (stop "Sportforum Süd" or "Sportforum Ost").

Further information

Stadium:

The stadium will open 120 minutes before kick-off (17:30 CET).

There will be no box office on match day.

The away sections are block 4 and block 3.2

Seats for wheelchair users are located in direct proximity to the away section (in blocks 2 & 3.1) and can be accessed only via "Hauptgebäude Süd".

Food and drink:

The kiosks in the Red Bull Arena only accept cashless payment (EC/debit and credit cards or by smartphone)

Bags and backpacks:

In order to ensure a smooth procedure at the entrances, no backpacks and bags exceeding the dimensions 25 x 25 x 25 cm may be brought into the Red Bull Arena. There is also nowhere to drop off bags and backpacks during the game. We therefore recommend that fans leave larger bags and backpacks in their car or on the fan bus.

Miscellaneous:

There is no smoking in the stands in the Red Bull Arena.

People who are clearly intoxicated will not be allowed into the stadium. In Leipzig, a legal alcohol limit of 1.1 per mill applies.
