Sunday

Bischof sets TSG record

Special record: Tom Bischof came on in the 77th minute away to Hertha BSC and, at 16 years and 264 days, became the youngest player ever to represent TSG in the Bundesliga. Across the division, only Youssoufa Moukoko (16 years and one day / BVB) and Paul Wanner (16 years and 15 days / FC Bayern) were younger when they debuted for their clubs. Another Hoffenheim player, Justin Che, also made his Bundesliga bow on Saturday. The 18-year-old was substituted on in the 77th minute as well. The entire TSG family would like to congratulate the debutants!

Saturday

Corona cases at TSG

Florian Grillitsch, Pavel Kaderabek and Ihlas Bebou will miss today's Bundesliga match away to Hertha BSC (15:30 CET). The players have tested positive for the coronavirus. They therefore did not make the journey to Berlin and are in quarantine at their homes.

Friday

Raum earns another Germany call-up

David Raum has been rewarded for his excellent form with a call-up to the Germany squad for the games against Israel in Sinsheim (26 March) and the Netherlands in Amsterdam (29 March). The 23-year-old, who has already been capped three times by the national team, has again been included in coach Hansi Flick's squad. There is a chance that he could go head-to-head with TSG teammate Munas Dabbur in the PreZero Arena on 26 March (Saturday/20:45 CET), as Dabbur is part of the Israeli national team squad. Further information about international call-ups for TSG Hoffenheim players will follow in the days to come.

Lucky winners enjoy double match day

Two top games and a meet and greet with Robert Skov! The winners of the SAP VIP ticket draw for TSG Hoffenheim's double match day against Bayern Munich experienced an unforgettable day, full of exciting highlights. Fans who had bought a ticket for the TSG women's match against Bayern Munich had the chance to win a VIP ticket for the men's match – also against Bayern Munich – which kicked off a little later that day. After the TSG women's match against the table-toppers (which finished 4-2 to the away side), the lucky winners were driven from the Dietmar Hopp Stadium to the PreZero Arena on the official TSG Hoffenheim team bus and experienced the 1-1 draw with the men from Munich from the business area of the stadium – and were even able to meet injured TSG star Robert Skov.

"It was a perfect day with two great games. The trip on the team bus was a great experience and Robert Skov was extremely friendly. I will remember 12 March for a long time," said Frank French.

Monday

Baumann sets Bundesliga record

The best goalkeeper in the Bundesliga: Oliver Baumann was named the Man of the Match by "kicker" following the 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich. It is the 37th time the 31-year-old has been named the best player in the Bundesliga match. Baumann is now the outright record holder among goalkeepers in this regard, having just overtaken René Adler, who won the Man of the Match award 36 times. Across all positions, Robert Lewandowski tops the ranking list with 59 MOTM awards.

Oliver Baumann could yet set another record on Saturday. If TSG Hoffenheim win away to Hertha BSC and the goalkeeper makes an appearance, the Breisgau native will become the first TSG Hoffenheim player to win 100 games with the club in the Bundesliga.

Three TSG players make Team of the Round

Deserved inclusion: three players were rewarded for their performances in the 1-1 draw against FC Bayern Munich with a place in the Team of the Round. Goalscorer Christoph Baumgartner made the selection nominated by magazine "kicker", goalie Oliver Baumann was named in the "ARD-Sportschau" and "BILD" teams, and Florian Grillitsch also made the "BILD" team. Many congratulations, lads!
