Joshua Brenet transfers to FC Twente Enschede

"Joshua came to us as a Dutch international and standout performer with PSV Eindhoven, the reigning champions at the time, so our expectations were high. But in the end, after three and a half years, we must critically conclude that the vision behind this transfer never came to fruition and it is therefore better for all parties to part ways. We wish him all the best for the future," said TSG Hoffenheim director of football Alexander Rosen.

Joshua Brenet made 15 Bundesliga appearances for TSG, scoring two goals. He also played five times in the DFB-Pokal (one goal) and twice in the Champions League. Brenet has recently been playing for TSG's Regionalliga team, making 10 appearances and scoring one goal.
