Vogt: "We'd hoped for more"

Here's what the players and coaches had to say after the goalless draw away to Arminia Bielefeld.

Oliver Baumann: "We're not satisfied with the result. We were very lucky at the outset not to concede a goal. Overall, we had too few good spells and were not dangerous enough in front of goal. We cannot allow ourselves to give away so much in the opening stages. All in all, there was only one chance in the second half. That's not enough."

Kevin Vogt: "If you look at the balance of play, you have to be satisfied with the draw at the end of the day. But we'd of course hoped for more. We were very lucky that we didn't fall behind, especially in the opening 10 minutes. We were not defending well at that point. We did have our chances later on, but we were not able to take them. We were then very dominant in the second half but unfortunately couldn't get a goal. However, we saw that we can be successful if we just play."

Sebastian Hoeness: "We gave away too much in the opening 10-15 minutes. We're aware of how Bielefeld created their opportunities. We were not totally present defensively; that's not acceptable. We were then very dominant and had a good structure. In the second half, it went the way we'd envisaged it. We had the game under control for long spells. From my perspective, we created slightly too few opportunities for ourselves. The draw is not enough for us, but it's okay when you consider the chances."

Frank Kramer (Arminia Bielefeld coach): "We were very present in the opening stages and had three gilt-edged chances. It was clear we couldn't keep this tempo up for 90 minutes. It was an intense match with lots of excitement. Nobody could have complained if it had ended 3-3 either. We will keep working on being more clinical in front of goal."
