Bundesliga: fans allowed back in the PreZero Arena

Good news for all TSG Hoffenheim fans: clubs across Germany are allowed to allocate tickets for up to 20% of seated capacity in stadiums for Bundesliga matches until the end of October. The resolution has been agreed upon by the heads of the state chancellery.

Good news before the start of the new Bundesliga season - fans are allowed back in stadiums. In order to meet the basic prerequisite for the partial admission of spectators, clubs must bring forth an appropriate hygiene concept. Close attention will be paid to local infection rates. The final decision lies with the local health authorities.

''We naturally welcome this decision. The partial return of spectators to Bundesliga stadiums is a positive development after what have been a very challenging and stressful past few months for a lot of people. It goes without saying that the health of all involved is the absolute priority. This step must be taken with the utmost care. The approach will be constantly reviewed over the next few weeks, with a close look at local infection rates across the country and the requisite common sense being applied. We are prepared for all eventualities and will provide information about our plans in due course,'' says TSG managing director Frank Briel.

Further information about the allocation of tickets in the PreZero Arena will be provided in the coming days.
