Christoph Baumgartner: "It was a positive day all-round. We can be very satisfied. We took our chances early on and got the things that have made our lives difficult in recent weeks exactly right. We were defensively solid too. Next week we have a cool long-distance duel with Wolfsburg. Then we'll see if we can get sixth place."
Andrej Kramarić: "We played aggressively in the opening half, managed to open the scoring early on and added two more goals which ensured we were already leading 3-0 by half-time. I'm now hoping we can pick up at least one point in Dortmund on the final matchday and can get sixth place to qualify directly for the Europa League group stages. If we focus on the task as well as we did today and produce a good performance, then it's possible."
Munas Dabbur: "That was an important victory for us. And for me it was a good, successful week as I scored three goals. We've managed to qualify for the Europa League. We've worked hard to be able to play football internationally next season. Now we want sixth place. Wolfsburg have a difficult match against Bayern Munich; we need to go to Dortmund but we want to win there. But we're satisfied with what we've already achieved."
Robert Skov: "It's a good feeling. We're happy that we played well, won and got into the Europa League. We created the goals well, worked well as a team and deserved the victory. Now we're heading to Dortmund aiming to get the win and finish in sixth place."
Alexander Rosen: "Participation in the Europa League cannot be rated highly enough. We're playing internationally for the third time in four years. I'm incredibly proud of the lads. But we want to achieve even more. Our objective is sixth place. We'll give everything for that. We need to wait and see how Andrej Kramarić coped with the exertion. You can see what incredible quality he has."
Urs Fischer (Union Berlin coach): "It's logical that there is a certain drop-off after you confirm your place in the division, but it shouldn't be that big. We were not consistent enough and defended poorly. We need to learn from that. We had been hoping for a different outcome."
