Grillitsch: "We can be satisfied with the point"

Here are the reactions from the players and coaches after TSG Hoffenheim drew 0-0 away to Bayer Leverkusen.

Jürgen Locadia: "It was a difficult match; our opponent had lots of possession and several chances to take the lead. But we posed a danger ourselves time and time again. It was great to make my debut in such a wonderful atmosphere. Following my spell in England, I'm hoping to have a good time in the Bundesliga. I still need a bit of time to adapt and I'm excited for our next home game against Freiburg."

Sebastian Rudy: "We were very solid. Everyone played a part. The strikers worked hard up front and we defended compactly, which is why the 0-0 draw is a fair result. We had several good counter-attacking opportunities and two good set-pieces. With a bit of luck, we could've won the match 1-0. But obviously Leverkusen had a lot of the game, a lot of corner-kicks and a lot of possession."

Florian Grillitsch: "We can be satisfied with the point. Leverkusen are in very good form and have started the season well. But we also had chances to win the match. So there's an element of regret there too."

Kevin Vogt: "It doesn't have to be a spectacle. We knew that Leverkusen have a lot of quality – especially in terms of their pressing. That's why we deviated from our dominant style today. That was the plan. We had a few clear-cut opportunities ourselves. Leverkusen couldn't have had any complaints if we'd got a goal."

Alfred Schreuder: "We're very happy with the point in Leverkusen. Leverkusen are one of the top teams in the league. And they showed that today. We wanted to close down the spaces and play a more counter-attacking game. The lads did that brilliantly. We had a few opportunities to switch the play. We could've got one or two goals ourselves. But Leverkusen also had enough opportunities. We're satisfied with our four points from the start of the season, but there's lots of room for improvement too."

Peter Bosz (Bayer 04 Leverkusen coach): "It was a case of two points dropped today. I have to compliment my players. It was very hot. We exerted pressure going forward until the end. Although we didn't have so many goalscoring chances, we were clearly the better team. That's why I'm disappointed that we didn't win. For me, it was our best performance of the season."
