"We won't abandon our way"

TSG coach Julian Nagelsmann spoke at the press conference prior to the Bundesliga match away to 1. FC Nuremberg (Saturday, 15:30 CET/Live Ticker at about the opposition, the start to the season and the personnel situation.

Julian Nagelsmann on…

…the opposition: "Nuremberg have got some crazy results – both positive and negative. They won't necessarily park a bus in front of the goal, but they'll probably be more defensive than they were against Dortmund and Leipzig. But that wouldn't be a surprise."

…Nuremberg coach Michael Köllner: "We saw each other for the first time at our Youth League match against Manchester City and we spoke to each other then. I like his way of playing football. He's brought calm to the club and is successful."

…the personnel situation: "A few players who had minor injuries are close to recovery. For Leonardo Bittencourt, this weekend will still be too soon. Florian Grillitsch is back in action and Stefan Posch is on his way to recovering too. I'll be delighted if we have more alternatives. That won't do our performance any harm. There's light at the end of the tunnel."

… Nico Schulz: "It makes me proud to see a player playing for the national team and putting in a performance. I'm delighted that Nico played a role in a top match."

…Hoffenheim's start to the season: "We're giving away a similar amount of chances and creating a similar amount of opportunities to last season. In principle, that's a good sign. I've been really annoyed in recent weeks because I don't like losing. We've held lots of talks with the lads and we won't abandon our way. Currently. we're not getting the right results. That's why we're not in the situation where we want to be. But the points will come if we continue to play as we are. I have no concerns when it comes to our being successful again soon. The lads are working in a very good and focused manner."
