Facebook Global Pages:
TSG communicating with fans worldwide

1899 Hoffenheim are stepping up their efforts to keep international fans in the loop with goings-on at the club. Alongside the English version of the website, TSG now have an English language version of their Facebook page courtesy of the Global Pages feature.

That means that TSG fans outside of Germany, Austria and Switzerland that like the club's Facebook page will start receiving updates in English automatically. The option to continue receiving German content is always available too.

Why are TSG taking this step now?

Over the past months, TSG have built more and more partnerships with associations, club and businesses from all over the world. It has often been related to youth development and the exchanging of technical and organisational know-how, but it has chiefly involved the team's and individuals' performances on the pitch.

Hoffenheim's displays in recent months have certainly helped the club to win many friends across the globe, which is apparent from the messages and engagement rates received. Many TSG players are also present on the international stage: Sejad Salihovic and Ermin Bicakcic play for the Bosnia national team, Tarik Elyounoussi features for Norway, Roberto Firmino for Brazil, Jin-Su Kim for South Korea, Jannik Vestergaard for Denmark and Adam Szalai for Hungary. There are also players like David Abraham (Argentina), Anthony Modeste (France) and Jiloan Hamad (Sweden).

The Hoffenheim community is therefore growing throughout the world. So far, they have been able to follow the club's exploits via the English language version of the homepage, but now they can visit the Global Page on Facebookto get even more updates about TSG.
