SG Aumund-Vegesack match reaction

Markus Gisdol: "The match was exactly how we expected it to be. Aumund-Vegesack were very organised for a lower league side and made life difficult for us for quite a while. We looked good defensively and didn't let them have a chance in front of goal. In attack, it was clear we had to be patient. In the end, the opposition ran out of steam. We are well prepared for Nürnberg and will work hard this week.”

Kristian Arambasic: "It was impressive playing against a Bundesliga team. Hoffenheim were excellent at letting the ball do the work, and had a lot of tempo too. My players said at half time that all they had done was run back and forth. Hoffenheim had a good preseason, and in the last few months I've grown to be a bit of a TSG fan. They are a great team with a number of young players. It was a fantastic experience for us; maybe even a once in a lifetime experience. Despite the 9-0 scoreline, we are proud of our performance. It was 0-0 for a long time.”
