Augsburg match reaction

In a game where football took second place, the reaction was as follows:

Markus Babbel: I'd like to thank FC Augsburg for their gesture before the game. It wasn't a normal match for us today, these were really difficult conditions. I said to the team before the game that the result wasn't important for us today, but rather the way in which we represented ourselves. I wanted to see a team that was fighting for Boris. I take my hat off to them. Despite a huge burden, we tried everything we could right until the end.

Markus Weinzierl: The 0-0 was a step forward because we kept a clean sheet. In terms of attack, we know we have to raise our game. We were fortunate towards the end, which is why we can be pleased with the point. It wasn't easy for us either today, we were also shocked by the news and have our fingers crossed for Boris.

Marvin Compper: It was hard to concentrate on the game today, but we decided to struggle through and fight. Just like Boris, who is battling for his life. Immediately after the game, our thoughts returned to Boris and I'm slightly overwhelmed by all these feelings. I'm a positive person and Boris is a fighter, so I'm optimistic.

Paul Verhaegh: Of course it was a difficult game for TSG because one of their teammates has been seriously injured. It's at times like this, that you realise what's important! It wasn't a normal game, but we deserved the point.
