Bosnia-Herzegovina reach play-offs

France 1-1 Bosnia-Herzegovina (0-1)

Bosnia-Herzegovina nearly pulled off the shock of the qualification campaign in Paris last night. Leading France thanks to a 40th minute effort from Edin Dzeko, they were set to qualify as group winners, until Samir Nasri equalised for the hosts from the penalty spot with ten minutes remaining. Vedad Ibisevic and Co. must now settle for a play-off place.

Ghana 0-0 Nigeria

In front of a crowd of 7,500 at Watford FC's Vicarage Road stadium in London, Ghana and Nigeria played out a goalless draw. Hoffenheimers Chinedu Obasi and Isaac Vorsah both featured.



USA 0-1 Ecuador

The Unite States, managed by ex- Germany manager Jürgen Klinsmann, were defeated by Ecuador in Harrison, New Jersey last night. TSG midfielder Daniel Williams played the entire 90 minutes.

Sweden 3-2 Netherlands

Holland were beaten 3-2 in Sweden last night, and missed on a 100% run in the EURO 2012 qualifying campaign. Edson Braafheid was an unused substitute for the game.

Serbia U21s 0-0 Denmark U21s

Jannik Westergaard featured for the Danish under 21s last night. His team managed a 0-0 draw in Serbia, are now in 2nd place in the table with a good chance of making U21 EURO 2013.
