Hoffenheim appeal Vorsah ban

1899 Hoffenheim have decided to appeal the two-match ban given to Isaac Vorsah after the straight red card he picked up this weekend against VfB Stuttgart.

After picking up, what was his first ever red card in Hoffenheim colours, Isaac Vorsah was handed a two-match ban by the German Football Association (DFL) for violent conduct. The straight red was shown to the Ghanaian centre back by referee Dr. Jochen Drees after Vorsah appeared to catch Stuttgart midfielder Christian Gentner in the back of his head with an elbow. It looked accidental, but it was enough for Drees to send Vorsah for an early bath due to violent conduct.

However, Hoffenheim are not content with the decision and are set to appeal the ban on Thursday in an attempt to have it either overturned or reduced.
