Referee informs 1899 team about changes for the 09/10 season
Normally players and referees only meet at games, but ahead of the new season the DFB referees have been giving extensive talks about changes to the rules for 09/10. 1899 Hoffenheim also received a visit from an official.
Marco Fritz, a 31 year old from Korb, travelled to Hoffenheim on Tuesday to give a 45 minute talk to players on everything they need to know before the season gets underway. The players now know exactly what referees will be focussing on in the coming 9 months. 2009/2010 is an important year for Fritz himself - he will join the top level of referees and officiate in the top flight for the first time.
