Short description

At the age of 16, José Ángel Tasende, better known as Angeliño, moved from Deportivo La Coruña to the Manchester City academy. From there, he was sent on loan to New York City FC, FC Girona, RCD Mallorca and NAC Breda. In 2018, he was transferred to PSV Eindhoven, before Manchester City bought the left-footer back one year later. In January 2020, the Spaniard was sent out on loan again – this time to RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga. In 2021, after an 18-month loan, the team from Saxony signed Angeliño on a permanent basis, and in 2022, the left-back celebrated winning the DFB-Pokal trophy with Leipzig. With the experience of 68 Bundesliga matches and 22 games in the UEFA Champions League under his belt, Angeliño joined TSG Hoffenheim on loan in the summer of 2022.
