Bundesliga team overcomes U23s in internal friendly

TSG Hoffenheim have used the fixture-free period in the Bundesliga to hold an internal friendly, with the senior team running out 4-1 (1-0) winners against the U23s on Thursday. Munas Dabbur (pen., 23/60), Andu Kelati (52) and Thomas Delaney (74) scored the goals for Pellegrino Matarazzo's charges, with Abdul Fesenmeyer finding the net for the U23s to make the score 1-1 at the time (51).

Dabbur suspended for three games

The Sports Court of the German Football Association (DFB) has suspended Munas Dabbur for three competitive games for his red card against Hertha BSC. The TSG striker was sent off for foul play against Dodi Lukebakio in the 71st minute of the 3-1 win. The verdict is final. The Israeli will be available again for the home game against 1. FC Cologne (Saturday 22 April).

TSG's impressive performance against Hertha BSC wasn't just rewarded with three points: Andrej Kramarić and Kevin Akpoguma's strong showings in the 3-1 win have led to their inclusion in the Team of the Round. Brace-bagger Kramarić was named in the XI selected by both kicker and ARD-Sportschau, while Akpoguma was included in the kicker selection. Congratulations to both!
