First training session under Matarazzo
Pellegrino Matarazzo was unveiled in the morning and then headed straight for the training pitch, where he oversaw his first session as TSG boss. The new head coach used the first session to gain an overview of his squad. The 45-year-old spread a positive mood and prepared the team for the Bundesliga match against Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Saturday (15:30 CET / Live Ticker at tsg-hoffenheim.de).
In the first training session under Pellegrino Matarazzo, the team went about their work with great focus and followed the clear instructions from the new head coach, who spoke to the team in German and English. The intensity was visibly high, the objective being to make the best use of the sessions remaining until the 45-year-old's first game against Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Saturday.
