Match highlights
Goal for Gladbach
TSG register an attempt at one end and suddenly the ball is in Baumann's net at the other. A long ball towards Hofmann bypasses the defence and the ex-TSG player keeps his cool and slots home.

Baumgartner almost equalises
TSG try to hit back immediately and attack strongly from kick-off. Baumgartner takes the ball past the keeper in the box but his shot from a tight angle is scraped off the line by a Gladbach player.
Hofmann doubles lead
Hofmann is played in with a pass over the top and then gets lucky when the ball ricochets off an opposition defender and into his path in the penalty area. The Germany international then slots home tidily and makes it 2-0.

Kadeřábek fires just over
Big chance to pull a goal back! Dolberg picks out Kadeřábek on the right, who is allowed to run into the box unimpeded. He goes all-out with a shot but it flies narrowly over the frame of the goal.
Good chance for Dabbur
Tohumcu plays in Bebou with a wonderful ball. The cross finds the forward, but Itakura turns it behind for a corner. That would’ve been dangerous otherwise.
Baumann saves with his foot
Huge chance for Gladbach. Hofmann finds space on the right and passes to Thuram, who squares it and finds Stindl. He controls the ball first but then disguises a shot which Baumann does well to block with his foot.
Bischof goes close
Great shot by Tom Bischof. The corner-kick comes in and he attempts to strike it on the volley from distance but it flies narrowly wide of the right upright.
Baumgartner hits the woodwork
The next big chance for Hoffe! Baumi meets Kramaric’s cross with a header that strikes the post.
A goal back!
It’s highly deserved by this point! Becker crosses towards the back post, Baumgartner heads it into the middle and Bebou puts the ball over the line.

Gladbach hit back immediately
Amid a spell of TSG pressure, Gladbach go 3-1 up: Scally feeds Hofmann, who cuts back to Stindl. The captain strikes it low into the corner.
Wolf scores
TSG lose the ball on the halfway line and Gladbach launch a quick attack. Netz has plenty of space on the left and squares it to Wolf, who turns it home from close range.
