Dabbur: "We had a very good week"

Munas Dabbur sustained a shoulder injury at the end of October and missed the end of the year. The Israeli forward was in fine form prior to the injury and will be hoping to build on that in the second half-season. In an interview, the 30-year-old spoke about the week at the training camp and the aims for his comeback.

Munas, the training camp in Portugal is over. What's your take on that time?

"We had a very good week of training. It's always great to be together with the lads. The atmosphere and the conditions have been super. We worked hard in Portugal and will continue to do so at home in order to be successful."

You finished off with a 3-1 victory against Servette and you scored your first goal since the injury. A special feeling?

"It's naturally always super when you round off a training camp with a victory. The fact that I was able to help the team by scoring a goal makes it even better. But we want to have a successful second half of the season and can't allow ourselves to drop off."

How are you doing after your injury?

"I feel very good and I don't have any problems with my shoulder. I have worked very hard in recent weeks to make sure that I can rediscover my best form at the beginning of the second half of the season."

You were in very good form before the injury, how tough was the timing of the injury?

"There's no good time to get injured, but it was of course particularly frustrating. But I now feel fit again and want to build on the performances from before the break. I want to help the team again."
