Chantal Hagel to join VfL Wolfsburg

National team player Chantal Hagel will no longer be a TSG Hoffenheim player next season. The 24-year-old is set to join league rivals VfL Wolfsburg. Hagel has signed a three-year contract with the reigning German champions. The attacking midfielder initially joined Hoffenheim's second-division team in 2016, before making the leap to the Bundesliga squad ahead of the 2019/20 season. Hagel has made 68 appearances in Germany's top tier to date, scoring 13 goals 12 of which came last season. Hagel made her debut for the German national team last season and just missed out on participating in the European Championship last summer. Chantal Hagel so far has six caps for the DFB team.

More than €5,600 in cups donated to Gotteshütte

Over the past few weeks, you have been able to donate your cup deposit at home games in the PreZero Arena for a good cause – and the results were outstanding, You managed to raise €5,661.60 in this way – an increase of around €1,000 compared with last year. The funds will be donated to Jugendhof Gotteshöhe, which won 71% of the vote.

The Gottesshütte Evangelical foundation is an institution offering help to young people and has many years of experience in the area of youth welfare. The foundation helps give children and young people a leg up and helps young adults get through difficult situations. The foundation is hoping to renovate and redesign the outdoor areas, kitting out the on-site football pitch with new goals and nets. The centre is also lacking an age-appropriate playground, so the donations will also go towards that.

Neulandstraße footpath open again

The footpath connecting Schwimmbadweg and Neulandstraße has been reconstructed by the company Layher and can now be used again with immediate effect following a closure of around a year. That will facilitate the journey to the PreZero Arena for many TSG fans. Dominik Reichardt (Layher Liegenschaften), Sinsheim's Lord Mayor Jörg Albrecht, Lorenz Glück (Layher Liegenschaften) and TSG Managing Director Frank Briel officially opened the footpath prior to TSG's home game against VfB Stuttgart.
