DKMS typing during the Mainz match
On Tuesday (15:30 CET), TSG Hoffenheim will play host to Mainz 05. The active fan scene, in cooperation with DKMS and the club, declared a special campaign will take place during the match, which will allow visitors to find out their HLA type to help in the fight against blood cancer.
In addition to the fan house at the PreZero Arena, a DKMS stand will be set up before the home match against Mainz 05 on Saturday, where fans and stadium visitors can have a typing profile created, starting from midday. A cheek swab is all it takes to help in the fight against blood cancer. If you have any medical questions or are uncertain about anything, DKMS employees will be on-site to help. Anyone between the ages of 17 and 55 years can be typed free of charge and without any obligation.
