Wondergoals and a TSG win in the season-opener
Personnel and tactics:
In André Breitenreiter's first match as coach of TSG Hoffenheim at the PreZero Arena, TSG started with a three-man defensive line made up of Stefan Posch, Kevin Vogt and captain Benjamin Hübner. Oliver Baumann played in goal. Pavel Kadeřábek and Robert Skov occupied the wide positions, while Christoph Baumgartner, Grischa Prömel and Diadie Samassékou played in midfield. Breitenreiter opted for a two-man strike partnership of Andrej Kramarić and Jacob Bruun Larsen. New arrival Ozan Kabak was not included in the squad.
At half-time, Georginio, Munas Dabbur and Kevin Akpoguma came on in place of Kramarić, Bruun Larsen and Hübner. The second load of substitutes came in the final quarter: Luca Philipp replaced Baumann in goal, while Melayro Bogarde came on for Posch, Sebastian Rudy for Vogt, Fisnik Asllani for Kadeřábek, Muhammed Damar for Samassékou, Marco John for Skov, Finn Ole Becker for Prömel and Tom Bischof for Baumgartner.
Moment of the match:
Although TSG scored three excellent goals of their own, Lasagna's strike to give Verona a 2-0 lead was probably one of the most beautiful goals ever scored in Sinsheim. The incredible lob from the sideline was a work of art that left even the Hoffenheim fans in awe.

Match highlights
TSG have the first chance after four minutes: Baumgartner slips a pass through to Bruun Larsen, who has room to shoot in the box. His left-footed effort, however, is too weak to trouble Montipo in the Verona goal.
Out of nowhere, it's Verona who take the lead. A long ball is played up towards Lasagna, who is able to get the better of Hübner in the box before powering a shot in under the crossbar. The TSG fans aren't happy about that one.
An excellent attacking move almost leads to the equaliser. Baumgartner and Bruun Larsen play a neat one-two before the ball makes its way out to Skov, who sends a dangerous cross into the area. Prömel fires on goal but his shot is blocked at the last second by a Verona defender.
What an unbelievable goal for Verona. Lasagna has a bit of room near the left sideline and decides to shoot from well over 30 metres out and with a seemingly impossible angle. However, the ball zips over Baumann and goes straight into the top-corner. What a goal that is.
Vogt launches a perfect ball up towards Kadeřábek, who then plays it into the area. Bruun Larsen wisely chooses to let it run through to Prömel, who makes no mistake with the finish to score his first goal for TSG since his return from Berlin.
Georginio works his way into space on the left and dinks the ball over to Baumgartner, who nods home from close range! A well-worked goal to bring the two sides level at 2-2.
TSG have turned the game on its head: again it comes from Georginio, who drives forward down the left and tees up Prömel, who has the simplest of finishes from close range.
After winning the ball in the opposition half, Bischof plays it to Dabbur, whose effort from just outside the area fizzes narrowly wide of the left-hand post.
Bischof slides the ball to Georginio, who shoots on goal from a half-right position. The Verona keeper palms the ball over the bar. Nothing comes from the resultant corner.
Georginio is played clean through on goal by Bischof. The Frenchman unselfishly squares the ball to Damar, who fires over the bar with the goalkeeper beaten,
