Raum makes "Team of the Season"

Major honour for David Raum: the TSG Hoffenheim player has been named in the Team of the Season by the Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL). Forty players who have particularly impressed this season were up for selection in the vote, which was conducted together with partner EA Sports. Raum beat off noteworthy competition and secured his place in the elite group in his very first Bundesliga campaign.

As an additional reward, the left-back has been awarded a special card for the "Ultimate Team" mode of the video game "FIFA 22".

Various factors determine the final XI when it comes to the vote for the "Team of the Season": the fans account for the largest proportion of the vote (40%); there is also an expert jury (30%) and the team captains of the 18 clubs are eligible to vote as well (30%).

Baumgartner in the Team of the Round

Christoph Baumgartner has been rewarded for his impressive performance in the 4-2 defeat to Bayer 04 Leverkusen by being named in the Team of the Round picked by "kicker" magazine and "BILD". The TSG star scored his seventh goal of the season to give Hoffenheim a 2-1 lead in the 36th minute after providing an assist for Georginio's goal to make it 1-1 in the 22nd minute.
