The 6-3 in November was the first time that TSG Hoffenheim have ever found the net six times in a Bundesliga away game. It was also the first time a match involving the Kraichgau club has ended 6-3. There have now been 40 different scorelines for TSG in the German top flight.

A victory for TSG could seal Fürth's second relegation from the Bundesliga. But that will only be the case if second-bottom Hertha win in Augsburg, 16th-placed Bielefeld take three points at home to German champions and runaway leaders Bayern Munich, and 15th-placed Stuttgart win in Mainz.
