Draw in the home game against Fürth

Personnel and tactics:

Head coach Sebastian Hoeness made three changes to his starting eleven from the 0-3 defeat against RB Leipzig, with Kevin Vogt, David Raum and Munas Dabbur returning to the starting line-up. Vogt joined Stefan Posch and Chris Richards to form the back three in front of goalkeeper Oliver Baumann, Raum began on the left, so Pavel Kadeřábek took up his usual position on the right. In central midfield, Hoeness opted for Diadie Samassékou and Christoph Baumgartner. Ihlas Bebou and Andrej Kramarić operated either side of Munas Dabbur in attack.

In the second half, Kevin Akpoguma on for Richards. Shortly thereafter, Posch injured his head and was replaced by Nordtveit on 50 minutes. Georginio and Jacob Bruun Larsen came on in the 71st minute to freshen up the TSG attack. They replaced Dabbur and Kadeřábek, with Bebou switching to the right wing. In the final phase, Robert Skov also came on, replacing Raum on 87 minutes.

Moment of the match:

The 86th minute: the ball ricocheted and found its way to Andrej Kramarić, who got a shot off from the edge of the penalty area. Andreas Linde stood up tall and parried the shot, preventing TSG from scoring a late winner.

Both Pavel Kadeřábek and Christoph Baumgartner received their fifth yellow card of the season and will therefore miss TSG's next Bundesliga match away at Eintracht Frankfurt.
