TSG fans bring gifts to children in Ghana

Erzana Dalloshi and Anna Mey Johannes, both 18, recently travelled to Ghana for three months, working as volunteers for a social organisation there. While in the West African country, they came up with an idea that would make 40 boys very happy: with the help of TSG Hoffenheim, the duo organised 40 Hoffenheim kits as well as pictures signed by Kasim Adams and handed them over to the disadvantaged children, many of whom were orphans. The gift from TSG came from the heart – and stirred up plenty of emotions.

Two TSG fans did something a little special in Ghana and were met with wide eyes and happy faces from the children: Erzana Dalloshi and Anna Mey Johannes from Rotenberg visited the African country for three months to volunteer for the organisation "Salesians of Don Bosco in Sunyani" doing social work. The organisation is committed to helping disadvantaged and orphaned children. "During our stay, we had many indescribably beautiful and unique experiences. Of course, there were also some moments that really touched us. The boys taught us to look at the world from a different perspective and to appreciate very different things," the two 18-year-olds told us.

Erzana and Anna Mey quickly realised that in Ghana, football is one of the favourite pastimes of the 40 boys. Since both come from TSG's home region, they got in touch with the Bundesliga team and asked for help. And Hoffenheim responded quickly and without hesitation: TSG sent a package of 40 shirts and 40 autograph cards signed by Ghanaian star Kasim Adams. It was a massive surprise for the children. "The boys jumped around and screamed with joy. We would like to thank TSG Hoffenheim for their support. By donating these kits and autographs, we were able to put a huge smile on the face of 40 boys and make them extremely happy. For us, TSG's actions have proved that there is not only a lot of fighting spirit in this club, but that Hoffenheim also has a huge heart," said Erzana Dalloshi and Anna Mey Johannes.

TSG Hoffenheim would like to thank the two fans for the great idea and are pleased that they were able to bring a little bit of joy to the boys in Ghana. TSG have been involved in Ghana for several years and are also working with the association "Accra Hearts of Oaks".
