TSG eSPORTS: 'whiteezz05' promoted to the VBL squad

Fabrice 'whiteezz05' Weiss has been rewarded for his strong start to the FIFA 22 season with a place in the TSG eSPORTS VBL squad for the second half of the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) Club Championship by bevestor. His debut has already been pencilled in for the upcoming double matchday against 1. FC Nuremberg and Hertha BSC next Wednesday.

It is a promotion that comes sooner than he anticipated: Fabrice 'whiteezz05' Weiss has joined the Hoffenheim squad for the VBL Club Championship in place of Marcel 'plaplup' Schwarz. "It was a bit unexpected as it hadn't been on the agenda for this season. But I fought my way into the professional squad thanks to my strong performances in training and good results in Ultimate Team as well," said the youngster. The 16-year-old was particularly convincing in the Division Rivals of the first FIFA 22 FUT Season, with his 13th-place finish in the Eastern Europe zone drawing attention and earning him a place in the first FIFA 22 Global Series (FGS) qualifying round.

His debut in the VBL Club Championship is already pencilled in for when the season gets back underway against 1. FC Nuremberg and Hertha BSC next Wednesday evening. On the Xbox, Weiss will play against Yannick 'Klastocky' Grum and Eren 'ErenPyrz030' Poyraz individually and in 2vs2 mode. The matches can be followed live on Twitch from 17:45 CET. "The promotion means a lot to me, as I can now finally compete with the best players in Germany in 90 mode," he explained in the lead-up to his debut. Our TSG occupies 11th place in the South-East Division after 12 of 26 rounds, and 'whiteezz05' is expected to inject new momentum into the professional squad as they bid to catch up with the top six, who will qualify for the play-offs.

"Bring the team forward after the first half-season"

Weiss naturally wants to make an immediate contribution to the upturn targeted in the second half of the season: "I hope to score points that will bring the team forward after the first half of the season." Despite all the euphoria, 'whiteezz05' has immense respect for the task ahead despite all the euphoria and believes the VBL Club Championship to be "an enormously strong league that pits together the best players in Germany". And the 16-year-old, who was only officially presented as Hoffenheim's young FIFA talent in mid-November, is now one of them. The TSG squad for the second half of the season now reads as follows: 'whiteezz05', Lukas 'Lukas_1004' Seiler, Jan-Luca 'Bassinho' Bass, Jonas 'bit0911' Bederke and Bundesliga striker Munas 'moanesdabbur9' Dabbur.
