Bebou: ''The win gives us even more belief''

Here's what the players and coaches had to say after the 3-1 win over FC Augsburg.

Ihlas Bebou: "We are on a good run and managed to pick up where we left off. We can build on this win, the result gives us even more belief and self-confidence. The table looks good, even if not everything was perfect today. We were really solid in the first half and deserved to take the lead after going behind. It got a bit messy after the break, but the 3-1 win was deserved in the end. As a striker, it's especially nice when I can help the team with goals, and that's working out quite well at the moment. But I'd also be happy if we won and I didn't manage to get on the scoresheet."

David Raum: "You can always fall behind, but we knew that we could turn the game around if we played the way we're capable of. We managed to do that and got the win we deserved. Everyone can see the quality we have in our play, we're able to create chances and score goals. We could have got a few more, so things got unnecessarily tense in the second half. I don't even look at the standings during the season. All this calculating doesn't help in any way. We try to play our best in every game and then we'll see what happens in the end.''

Chris Richards: ''We showed character today - as we have done all season. We play for each other and fight together. Teams know that when they face us. We have a lot of different goalscorers, that's what makes us special. We are very dangerous going forward. A glance at the league table makes us happy, of course.''

Sebastian Hoeness: ''We actually got off to a really good start and thought we'd managed to score the opening goal. Unfortunately it was chalked off and then we found ourselves a goal down after their first corner. After that, we continued to play very good football, but we weren't decisive enough in the final third. Getting the two goals before half-time was of course very important for us. In the second half, we could have put the game to bed sooner, especially in the early stages. But we couldn't create the big chances and then the game became more open. We had to survive a couple of hairy moments and got the requisite slice of luck. We settled the ship in the end and managed to score the decisive third goal.''

Markus Weinzierl (FC Augsburg coach): "Congratulations to TSG for the win. After opening the scoring, we had the game under control until about the 30th minute, but then conceded twice in quick succession. That hurt us. We were more courageous in the second half, but unfortunately we couldn't create any big chances. The goal for 3-1 came about because we had to get bodies forward in search of an equaliser. We lost against a very good Hoffenheim side today."
