Adamyan joins Schreuder's side Club Brugge on loan

Sargis Adamyan, 28, is set to leave Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim and join reigning Belgian champions Club Brugge on loan until the summer. The Bruges-based team, who are coached by former TSG boss Alfred Schreuder, sit in second place in the Jupiler Pro League after 25 rounds of matches and are in the semi-finals of the Coupe de Belgique.

"The considerable competition for places in our squad, particularly in attacking positions, means Sargis has recently not been getting the playing time he expects. He has clearly communicated to us that he is interested in a loan and, especially in view of the situation with Alfred, we believe we have found a highly promising solution for all parties involved," said TSG Hoffenheim sporting director Alexander Rosen.

Sargis Adamyan has so far made 46 Bundesliga appearances (eight goals) for TSG Hoffenheim, as well as playing three times in the DFB-Pokal (one goal) and five times in the Europa League (two goals) for the Kraichgau outfit. The Armenia international has a contract in Hoffenheim until 30/06/2023.
