Covid rules

The 2G rule applies at Bayer 04 Leverkusen: if you have been fully vaccinated or have fully recovered, nothing stands in the way of you attending the stadium! Stadium visitors aged 16 and over must present proof of 2G (proof of vaccination or recovery). In addition to the digital proof, an official photo ID must also be presented upon entry to the stadium.

There are exceptions to this rule, which are described below:

2G exception: Schools pupils continue to be considered as tested persons. This applies up to and including the age of 15. Children up to the age of school entry are treated the same. A photo ID must be shown at the entrance to confirm age.

2G- exception: Presentation of a medical certificate confirming that vaccination is not possible for health reasons. In this case, either a rapid test (not older than 24 hours at the time of the final whistle) or a PCR test (not older than 48 hours at the time of the final whistle) must be presented. Furthermore, we recommend that you contact the Bayer 04 Service Centre on 0214 5000 1904 in advance to check whether the existing medical certificate is sufficient. For pregnant women, presentation of the maternity passport is sufficient. Bayer 04 Leverkusen will only check and issue a wristband for admission at the OST, WEST and GAST service centres.

IMPORTANT: From the age of 16, proof of immunisation through vaccination or recovery must be provided. Proof of school attendance is not sufficient.

Travel and parking

Coaches

• Parking in sector P6
• To Europaring via the exit "Am Neuenhof" to Marienburger Straße.
• WCs and rubbish containers will be available at the coach parking areas.
• Parking is free of charge

Cars & mini-buses

Cars, minibuses and van without parking permits cannot park in the bus parking area under the motorway. The police, the road traffic office and the security service will turn away all vehicles and send them to the shuttle bus parking area.

From the free shuttle bus car park (from two hours before kick-off), you can comfortably take the buses to the stadium or the S-Bahn S6 one stop to Leverkusen Mitte.

Disabled/wheelchair parking spaces

• Located directly opposite the BayArena. Use is only permitted with the blue wheelchair parking permit (address: Bismarckstr. 122-124).
• Leverkusen Mitte station is being completely rebuilt over the next two years. Therefore, travelling there is problematic, especially for people with disabilities. We advise all fans to contact the railway company in advance to find out what the status of accessibility is. For wheelchair users, travel via Leverkusen Mitte is only possible with the S6, but this should be confirmed in advance!

Stadium opening and ticket office:

The BayArena opens two hours before kick-off (18:30 CET). There will be ticket office open on the day of the match.

Stadium:

Away section: Block SG1 seated

Catering:

• No cash payment possible
• Payment via Girocard (formerly EC card), credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay.
• Drinks cannot be brought into the stadium
• Drinks will be served in returnable cups. The deposit is €2

Alcohol:

An alcohol test will be carried out on visibly intoxicated attendees. Their continued presence in the stadium will depend on the result. No alcoholic beverages will be served on site.

Bag drop:

Only for small items, no bulky items. A €1 fee applies.

Rucksacks and bags:

• The carrying of large bags - ladies' handbags - sports bags - suitcases - backpacks etc. is not permitted.
• Belt bags are permitted.
• Digital cameras for private use are permitted - video cameras are not permitted.
• Bringing a power bank into the BayArena is not permitted!
• The maximum size of containers for refilling TC e-cigarettes is 10 ml.
