Baumann & Stiller make Team of the Round

Two TSG Hoffenheim players have been rewarded for their performances in the stunning comeback that culminated in a 2-2 draw away to Bayer 04 Leverkusen: Oliver Baumann and Angelo Stiller have been both named in the Team of the Round. Baumann made the selections by football magazine "kicker" and BILD newspaper, while Stiller was included solely in the "kicker" team for Matchday 16. Many congratulations!

Online fan shop offline briefly – great Christmas gifts available in the shop at the Arena

It's the final sprint of the Christmas shopping season: TSG Hoffenheim fans will find great ideas and offers in the fan shop in the PreZero Arena. Unfortunately, the online shop will be offline for a short time for changes. We are working on being able to offer the tried and tested service again as soon as possible. The Federal Office for Security in information Technology (BSI) warned at the weekend that there could currently be security gaps on the Internet across the entire country.

According to the experts, servers in the network are threatened because of a widespread vulnerability. The authorities raised the warning level to red in light of the vulnerability. A problem in a software module that is widely used on many computers led to an "extremely critical threat", according to the BSI. The reasons given included that there had been attacks from hackers worldwide, some of which had been successful. The extent of the threat situation is currently not clear.

To date, there have been no abnormalities in TSG Hoffenheim's systems. For security reasons, however, the online shop has been removed from the network for a short time for the safety of all users. We hope to inform our fans as soon as possible when the online shop is back up and running again. Until then, the shop on-site in the PreZero Arena and our shop on amazon.de will be available as usual. Of course, all online purchases already made will be processed and dispatched.

Baumann, Raum and Vogt in the Team of the Week

After TSG Hoffenheim's last-minute victory at SC Freiburg (2-1) on Saturday, three Hoffenheim stars were named in the Team of the Week by various media. David Raum was chosen by "kicker" for his good performance and his debut goal in the Bundesliga, while the "Sportschau" named Kevin Vogt in its team. Oliver Baumann, who saved a penalty against his former club, was in goal in the "BILD" Team of the Week.

The ARD Sportschau had the following to say about defensive linchpin Vogt: "In the Battle of Baden, TSG Hoffenheim were able to get the win in Freiburg thanks to an injury-time header from Chris Richards to give his team a 2-1 win in the dying seconds. Before that, there had been little between the sides, but a few TSG players mustered up slightly better form on the day – Vogt, for example. With his stoic calm and ability to read the game, the veteran defender held his team's defence together and was a leader, setting the benchmark for TSG's players."
