The Hearts, founded in 1911, are one of the oldest clubs in Africa. The club boasts a large support and recently celebrated their 21st league title. They are set to soon complete the construction of one of the most modern youth training centres on the continent. As part of the planned cooperation, the Ghanaian club will become the first in Africa to pursue a clear sustainability strategy. FC Cincinnati have already been in partnership with TSG for a year. Now the three partners want to combine the perspectives of three continents and three leagues to form a common path.
...this is the motto which the Accra Hearts of Oaks (Ghana), FC Cincinnati (USA) and TSG Hoffenheim used as the basis for their discussions about a planned partnership. Talks are currently underway in Ghana's capital Accra on the form this remarkable partnership will take. This process will lead to a ''Memorandum of Understanding''. The joint areas of responsibility of the ''Common Value Club Alliance'' have been defined as education, social impact - which TSG will bolster through the ''TSG is Movement'' strategy - and the development of sustainable, forward-looking business models. A visit to the Ghanaian Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia rounded off the joint conversations.
