TSG to face Leverkusen in Round of 16

Having overcome the first hurdle in the DFB-Pokal with a comfortable 5-0 victory away at Würzburger Kickers, TSG coach Gabor Gallai's team will now face league rivals Bayer 04 Leverkusen on the weekend of 30/31 October. The pairings were drawn on Sunday evening.

Saturday

U19 game in Freiburg called off

Marcel Rapp will not get his last game as U19 coach. The TSG U19s' match with SC Freiburg scheduled for this evening has been cancelled at short notice. A rescheduled date will be agreed and announced in due course. As of tomorrow, Rapp will be coaching Bundesliga 2 team Holstein Kiel and will thus be leaving TSG after eight-and-a-half years at the club.

Friday

Raum called up for Germany

David Raum has once again been named in the Germany squad by national team coach Hansi Flick. The TSG Hoffenheim left-back is in the squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Romania in Hamburg on 8 October (20:45 CET) and North Macedonia in Skopje on 11 October (20:45 CET). The 23-year-old made his senior international debut in a 6-0 win over Armenia in September.

Thursday

No stadium tours on 2 October

Due to the TSG Hoffenheim members' meeting, there will be no stadium tours on 2 October. The next Saturday tours at the PreZero Arena will take place as planned throughout October and November.

TSG to start new fitness offering

Do you want to get fitter and enjoy training in a group? Then FUNctional Fit is the right place for you. Starting 4 October, TSG is offering a weekly sports program for men and women between the ages of 25 and 40. Training takes place every Monday at 20:15 CET in the sports hall at the Grosse Wald in Hoffenheim. The training is suitable for everyone and includes a varied selection of fitness, strength, endurance and relaxation exercises. The emphasis is on having fun with sports. Training is not specific to any one sport; instead, various sports, disciplines and games are incorporated into the training. Three TSG players make Team of the Round

Three Hoffenheim players were nominated for the Team of the Round following their performances in the 3-1 victory over VfL Wolfsburg. "kicker", ARD-Sportschau and "BILD" all selected left-back David Raum in their Team of the Round after his excellent display. Chris Richards was also nominated by "kicker". Pavel Kadeřábek, who scored the final goal in the 3-1 victory over the Wolves, made his way into the "BILD" XI. For all the players nominated, it was the first team they have achieved the feat this season.
