Bruun Larsen: "We're totally delighted"

Here's what the coaches and players had to say after the 4-0 win at FC Augsburg.

Sargis Adamyan: "This is exactly how we'd envisaged our start to the season. We'd already performed well and taken a deserved lead in the opening half. But then we deservedly extended our advantage in the second period, as we took slightly more risks and were rewarded for that. I'm delighted with my goal, which was set up very well by Andrej. His overall performance was brilliant with three assists. I would've liked him to get a goal, but you can live with three assists. He just plays the passes through perfectly. It's amazing to have a player like him in our ranks."

Jacob Bruun Larsen: "You probably can't start the season better than that. Augsburg didn't make it easy for us in the first half. Our performance was super, especially in the final 20 minutes. It's brilliant to score four goals in your first away game and in such warm weather conditions. We're totally delighted; we have a good culture and a good team spirit. I'm obviously happy that I was able to help the team by scoring my first Bundesliga goal for TSG."

David Raum: "All in all, it was a good team performance from us. I'm delighted with my Bundesliga debut. It wasn't all perfect yet in the first game, but we already got most of it right. In the incident for which I was shown a yellow card, I had to watch out to make sure I didn't fall into the Augsburg bench. I am very sorry that my opponent fell in that manner. It was not intentional at all. I didn't push him and I immediately apologised. It's not ideal for a defender to be given a booking so early on."

Sebastian Hoeness: "We saw an opening half that was absolutely even. Augsburg had the first major opportunity. We were not satisfied with our play with the ball. But then things got better. We took in a lead at the break thanks to Jacob's goal. We then came through a strong spell from Augsburg and took our chance to make it 2-0. We were clinical in front of goal today."

Markus Weinzierl (FC Augsburg coach): "It's obviously a bitter blow to concede two goals in the final 10 minutes. It was a good game until the 80th minute from my point of view. Unfortunately, we missed the big chance to take the lead and defended badly ourselves and went 1-0 down. We started the second period well but couldn't get the equaliser. All in all, it was a deserved defeat because we did not produce our best performance.
