Out to break records against BVB

TSG Hoffenheim are primed for their next taste of Bundesliga action on Friday night, when Sebastian Hoeness's side will take on Borussia Dortmund in a Matchday 3 showdown (20:30 CET, liveticker at tsg-hoffenheim.de). A win under the floodlights in Dortmund would see TSG extend their impressive run of form, while striker Andrej Kramarić is on the cusp of breaking more club records. Ahead of the clash with the Black & Yellows, we have compiled all the most important facts and figures you need to know about #BVBTSG below.

Did you know that…

…TSG are currently on the best run of form of any Bundesliga side?

Hoffenheim are unbeaten in their last nine Bundesliga games across this season and last (four wins, five draws) - a longer run than any other team in the league.

…BVB don't enjoy going up against TSG?

The Black & Yellows have won just nine of their 26 Bundesliga meetings with Hoffenheim. The only two Bundesliga teams that BVB historically have a lower overall winning percentage against than TSG (35%) are Bayern Munich (24%) and Offenbacher Kickers (33%).

… Andrej Kramarić can set another club record in the game against BVB?

The 30-year-old has been involved in at least one goal in each of his last seven Bundesliga matches (six goals, six assists). No other player in club history has gone on such a prolific run. What is more, the only club Kramarić has scored more goals against than Dortmund (seven) are Hertha BSC (eight).

…coach Marco Rose's side are suspect defensively at the moment?

Dortmund have conceded seven goals in their last three competitive games. That said, they let in just six in the nine matches prior to this. In addition, this is the first time since 2014/15 that Borussia have conceded four goals in their first two league matches.

…former BVB player Jacob Bruun Larsen is in outstanding form?

The Denmark international has found the back of the net in each of the two league games thus far, meaning he's already equalled his overall tally of goals scored from his 46 Bundesliga appearances prior to this season.
