Grillitsch & Co. to miss out on Fürth friendly

TSG Hoffenheim will play a friendly match against SpVgg Greuther Fürth to close out training camp this Saturday (14:00 CET). Head coach Sebastian Hoeness will have to make do without the injured Håvard Nordtveit, Konstantinos Stafylidis, Ishak Belfodil, Sargis Adamyan as well as Oliver Baumann, Ermin Bičakčić, Benjamin Hübner and Diadie Samassékou (all lacking match fitness). In addition, Florian Grillitsch has been released as he is attending his best friend's wedding as the best man. Furthermore, the trio of European Championship players Andrej Kramarić, Pavel Kadeřábek and Robert Skov won't rejoin the team until next week, while David Raum is away on Olympic duty.

Amade moves to KV Ostende

Defensive player Alfons Amade has joined Belgian top-tier side KN Ostende with immediate effect. The 21-year-old had a year remaining on his TSG Hoffenheim contract, which was set to expire in June 2022. The Germany youth international, who most recently represented TSG at U23 level, first joined the club as a promising childhood talent and made his senior Bundesliga debut in 2019. Last year, the Heidelberg native made his debut European appearance in the 4-1 win over KAA Gent in the UEFA Europa League. During his time at the club, Amade made 54 appearances for the U23s in the Regionalliga and made it to the final of the UEFA Youth League with the U19s, beating clubs such as Manchester City and Real Madrid en route to the final.
