DFL publishes financial figures of professional clubs

At the general meeting of the German Football League (DFL) in December 2018, the professional clubs agreed that in future key club financial figures should be published in order to increase transparency. The total amount of commission paid to players' agents by each club is also included in the figures.

Figures are published annually on the DFL website as part of the organisation's licensing procedure and are based on each club's last completed financial year. Although this measure is technically only required for participants in European club competitions in accordance with the UEFA Club Licensing Regulations and Financial Fair Play, this regulation applies to all Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 clubs in Germany as a result of the resolution passed by the DFL General Meeting of December 2018.
