#TSGS04: Up against favourite foes

There's usually cause for celebration when TSG Hoffenheim play host to FC Schalke 04. On Saturday (15:30 CET/Live Ticker at tsg-hoffenheim.de), the Kraichgau club will be aiming to continue their excellent home record against the Royal Blues. We have all the important facts and figures you need to know about #TSGS04 below.

Did you know that…

…TSG like playing against Schalke at home?

S04 are a welcome guest in the Kraichgau: Hoffenheim have lost only one of their 12 home games against Schalke in the Bundesliga (4-1 on 14 May 2016). TSG have six victories, while there have also been five draws.

…Schalke are still winless on the road this term?

The Royal Blues are currently on a 26-game winless run away from home in the Bundesliga. This is Schalke's longest such streak on the road in the German top flight. Their last Bundesliga win on their travels came when they beat Werder Bremen 2-1 on 23 November 2019.

…Andrej Kramarić could equal a TSG record?

The Croat has scored 17 goals so far this season. Should the 29-year-old find the net one more time this term, he will equal the record set by Vedad Ibisevic. The Bosnian scored 18 times for TSG in the 2008/09 campaign.

…S04 are vulnerable from set-pieces?

Schalke have conceded 26 goals from dead balls this season. That's the most of any club in the Bundesliga.
