Kramarić: "The draw is fair"

Here's what the players and coaches had to say after the 1-1 draw at Arminia Bielefeld.

Andrej Kramarić: "It was a difficult game. Both sides are probably happy with the 1-1 draw. Bielefeld gave everything and absolutely wanted to win. But in the end the draw is fair. I had a big opportunity to make it 2-1, but Stefan Ortega made a good save. I'm of course delighted with my Hoffenheim goal record. It means an awful lot to me."

Philipp Pentke: "We knew what kind of momentum we'd be up against. I've already played here a few times and nothing has changed over the years. For Bielefeld, survival in this league was at stake. I'm happy that I was able to make a contribution to us getting a point here and that I partially succeeded in stopping that momentum. But perhaps there was more in it for us than just one point."

Sebastian Hoeness: "We witnessed a very intense match today. We obviously made a good start to the game by taking the lead, but then we were subjected to a spell of pressure by Bielefeld. After that we created too few chances for ourselves. After it went to 1-1, we controlled the game until the break. Bielefeld then had another period of pressure; at that point, we were not focused enough and made the wrong decisions. We showed that we don't give away anything. Bielefeld made it very difficult for us today."

Frank Kramer (Arminia Bielefeld coach): "We missed the opportunity to score the second goal today. You could see today that the lads are unbelievably committed. They gave everything. We'll take the point; it's a partial success against such a strong footballing side. However, the draw does not leave us with a perfect feeling. But we're fully in the race to beat the drop."
