Digital fan evening with Baumgartner and Binley

This season, TSG Hoffenheim have regularly been inviting fans to take part in digital fan meetings. This helps the club stay in touch with its supporters during the Coronavirus crisis. Another meeting was held on Wednesday evening (28 April), with TSG first-team star Christoph Baumgartner and U20 women's player Louisa Binley joining as guests. The numerous TSG fans in attendance were visibly delighted to be able to talk to ''Baumi'' about the season so far, TSG's elimination from all cup competitions and the various challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic. The Austria international took pleasure in discussing his recent contract extension which will see him remain a TSG player until 2024. Baumgartner assured the supporters that he would continue to give it his all in what remains of the season and expressed how much he misses having fans in the stadium and hopes they can return soon.

U20 goalkeeper Louisa Binley also had interesting conversations with the TSG fans in attendance. Topics touched on included women's football and TSG's impressive Bundesliga season which ended with qualification for the UEFA Champions League. It goes without saying that conversation turned to the incredible upset win over Bayern Munich, who were previously undefeated in the season.
