DFB Cup: TSG to host Greuther Fürth

The final opponent of the calendar year has been determined: TSG will host SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the Second Round of the DFB Cup. It is Hoffenheim's first home game in the competition since beating FSV Frankfurt 5-1 on 29 October 2014.

The Second Round fixtures will be played on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 December. The DFB will specify the date and kick-off time in due course.

"We're looking forward to our first home game since October 2014. Our objective is still to reach the Round of 16, despite being drawn against an ambitious second-tier side who have made a good start to the season," said TSG Hoffenheim director of football Alexander Rosen.

In the First Round, TSG Hoffenheim beat Chemnitzer FC 3-2 on penalties following a 2-2 draw after extra-time.
