Major honour for Andrej Kramarić: the TSG player has been crowned the "Bundesliga Player of the Month" for September by the DFL. The Croat beat Niclas Füllkrug (Werder Bremen), Sasa Kalajdzic (VfB Stuttgart), Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sané and Joshua Kimmich (all FC Bayern Munich) to the award in a fan poll on bundesliga.de. Kramarić scored five goals in two Bundesliga matches both of which TSG won during the month of the September.

Virtual fan club meeting with Sebastian Hoeness

On Wednesday evening, Sebastian Hoeness got to know some of the TSG Hoffenheim supporters for the first time. The 38-year-old fielded questions from TSG fans at the annual fan club meeting. The coronavirus meant that the event unfortunately could not take place in person this year, but a virtual fan club meeting was organised instead to ensure it would not be cancelled. TSG organised a video conference via Microsoft Teams so that the fans could still attend the popular event even in the current challenging circumstances.

"It was a really successful event and was a lot of fun for me. Unfortunately, it's currently not possible to have direct contact with the fans," said Sebastian Hoeness, who promised to attend the event again soon.

The fans asked Hoeness some downright tricky questions about the squad, the youth performance centre and its funding, fan affairs, salary limits for professionals and the future of football in and after the coronavirus period.

Head coach Sebastian Hoeness was joined by several other TSG representatives, with press officer Holger Kliem and fan representatives Carsten Lindwurm and Lukas Zülch also in attendance. The fan clubs were delighted to have had an important exchange with the coach and club representatives, and thanked the Fan Affairs Department at TSG for successfully organising the virtual fan club meeting.
