Kramarić, Dabbur and Skov in ''kicker'' ranking list

Andrej Kramarić, Munas Dabbur and Robert Skov have been singled out for praise by "kicker" magazine for their strong performances in 2020: the trio have been included in the specialist football magazine's ''best of'' list for the second half of the past Bundesliga season. Dabbur (striker) and Skov (winger) were included in the "focus" category, while Kramarić (striker), ranked fifth in his position, was named in the "wider field" category.

The specialist football magazine wrote the following about the Croatian forward: "A big topic in our editorial discussions was Andrej Kramarić. Injuries meant the 29-year-old didn't play as often as he would have liked - 11 appearances in total. But his seven goals and four assists mean he was more prolific than any other player in the "wider field" category. It goes without saying that Hoffenheim would have hoped for more playing time for the free-roaming Croatian; whenever he's on the pitch, he transforms their game, makes it better. His impressive four-goal haul against Dortmund (4-0) demonstrates that - when healthy and fit - he is unquestionably a player who has what it takes to be world class."

The magazine had the following words for Munas Dabbur: "The season seemed to be over for the Israeli after he suffered an injury. However, the forced break meant that he was able to make more appearances. The 28-year-old, who moved from Sevilla in the winter, is able to deftly find half-spaces, but he needs to work on becoming more clinical in front of goal (as he was when he bagged a brace against Bayern in the cup).

Three more TSG players named in ''kicker'' ranking list

Pavel Kadeřábek, Florian Grillitsch and Christoph Baumgartner have all been recognised by ''kicker'' magazine for their strong performances in 2020: the trio have been included in the specialist football magazine's ''best of'' list for the second half of the past Bundesliga season. Pavel Kadeřábek (full-back) and Christoph Baumgartner (attacking midfield) were named in the ''wider field'' category, while Florian Grillitsch (defensive midfield) was included in the ''focus'' category.

Christoph Baumgartner, who was ranked fifth in his position, received the following words of praise: ''A quick development from talent to top performer meant the Austrian was the revelation of the second round of fixtures for Hoffenheim. His six goals after the winter break made him the second-highest scorer at the club after Andrej Kramaric, and with more experience and calm in front of goal, he might well have been able to notch up a higher tally. He posed a constant threat through his speedy dribbles into dangerous areas."
