Uduokhai: "Confirm our place in the division now"

Felix, you won in Mainz at the weekend. The victory moved you a big step closer towards ensuring your survival. How do you assess your chances?  

"We have a seven-point lead with three matches remaining. It is still possible mathematically speaking, but we want to confirm it now and remove the last elements of doubt. It wasn't our best performance against Mainz. So we know what we need to improve."

You're hosting TSG Hoffenheim on Wednesday. What kind of match are you expecting?

"Hoffenheim want to qualify for the Europa League and so they need every point. We now want to confirm our place in the division by ourselves. So both teams will be playing to win. Hence why it could be an interesting match."

You were very successful in the final rounds of the first half-season. What makes you confident that that will be the case once again now?

"We can't compare the two phases of the season because the fact games are being played without spectators creates very different conditions. We want to confirm our place in the division now and get the maximum from the last three matches."

You have never lost in your three meetings with Hoffenheim and you even scored your one Bundesliga goal to date against TSG. Would you say that Hoffenheim are a bit of a favourite foe for you?

"No, that doesn't play a role. I'm looking forward to this game and I think it'll be a fast and intense one. If we play to our limit, I'm very confident that we'll be successful too. I certainly wouldn't mind getting another goal.
