TSG approves statements made by DFL CEO Seifert

TSG Hoffenheim approves the statements made by Christian Seifert, the chief executive of the German Football League (DFL), in an interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung published on Wednesday.

Among other things, Seifert called for the wages of players and their advisors to be capped, and explained that the corona crisis should be used to find solutions that "identify questionable developments and then at least limit, or perhaps even correct, them". Furthermore, the chief executive officer of the DFL spoke out in favour of establishing a task force focusing on the future of professional football.

"We wholly approve of the interview. Not only do we support the ideas and demands expressed in it without exception, but a large part of it is reflected in our future strategy 'TSG is motion' too", said the TSG Hoffenheim management in a statement.
