TRAVEL DISRUPTIONS FOR SCHALKE GAME
There could be traffic problems surrounding TSG Hoffenheim's Bundesliga match on Sunday evening. The current construction works on the A6 between Sinsheim and the Walldorf motorway junction are having a negative impact on event traffic (congestion/obstructions).
The construction site situation in the thoroughfare Sinsheim, Friedrichstraße (L550), with its complete closure and inner-city diversion, is additionally creating considerable disruptions for arrivals and departures.
SMARTPHONE ACCESS TO THE PREZERO ARENA
For several years now, the smartphone has been a constant companion in our everyday lives. For TSG too, the device is taking on an ever-growing significance in various fields, including ticketing. For several months, fans have been able to obtain a "Mobile ticket" for home games at the PreZero Arena, meaning their TSG tickets are always handy on their smartphones.
On that note, for all fans who do not yet have a ticket for the home game against Schalke or any subsequent matches, tickets can be procured easily and at late notice via smartphone en route to the stadium. The Online Shop is always open until kick-off. There are no long queues at the ticket office and no constant use of the HNV and VRN public transport networks! When making an order, simply choose "Mobile Ticket" as the delivery type for your TSG home tickets and help to protect the environment. To those who do so, TSG would like to say a big thank you on behalf of the environment!
FORMER GERMANY SKI JUMPING COACH PAYS ACADEMY A VISIT
Olympic medallist, world champion, overall World Cup winner – Werner Schuster achieved almost everything there is to achieve with his charges during his tenure as the Germany ski jumping coach. Schuster, who stepped down from the role with the German Ski Association this year, this week visited the TSG Academy to give a talk on the topic "How do I succeed in the long-term in making young talents world-class?". In a discussion with the Academy director Dominik Drobisch, Schuster explained to the coaches and staff at the Academy about the structural changes he implemented within the association, his take on the promotion of talent, and the management of elite athletes.
As a result, the Academy staff gained a fascinating insight into a sporting discipline with which they are not familiar and heard theories about how the process of confidence-building in athletes works. "Self-confidence is the result of performance – not the other way around. I was always in favour of training the key areas of a sporting discipline really well. Then the psychological factors and the self-confidence will come by themselves." In addition to practical tips, Schuster shed light on the highs and lows he experienced during the course of his 11 years in the role.
