Smartphone access to the PreZero Arena
For several years now, the smartphone has been a constant companion in our everyday lives. For TSG too, the device is taking on an ever-growing significance in various fields, including ticketing. For several months, fans have been able to obtain a "Mobile ticket" for home games at the PreZero Arena, meaning their TSG tickets are always handy on their smartphones.
On that note, for all fans who do not yet have a ticket for the home game against Freiburg or the subsequent matches (Mönchengladbach, Schalke), tickets can be procured easily and at late notice via smartphone en route to the stadium. The Online Shop is always open until kick-off. There are no long queues at the ticket office and no constant use of the HNV and VRN public transport networks! When making an order, simply choose "Mobile Ticket" as the delivery type for your TSG home tickets and help to protect the environment. To those who do so, TSG would like to say a big thank you on behalf of the environment!
XXL tournament for football fans
While the Bundesliga paused for the first international break of the season at the weekend, the fans themselves got a chance to shine. Three hundred (formerly) overweight participants in the "Football Fans in Training" prevention programme took part in the XXL tournament in Frankfurt.
TSG Hoffenheim entered its own team in the "German Championship for XXL Fans" and, although they may have exited the competition at an early stage, good fun was had by all. The eventual winners were SV Darmstadt 98, who beat FC Ingolstadt 1-0 in the final. In total, 19 teams representing clubs from the top three tiers of German football were involved in the event.
Since the beginning of 2017, the FFIT project has been run by clubs in cooperation with German Cancer Aid and the Institute for Therapy and Health Research. In total, 1,300 overweight fans have already benefited from the programme.
