Adams reaches AFCON Round of 16 with Ghana
Kasim Adams has reached the Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 with Ghana. The Black Stars, as they are nicknamed, beat Guinea-Bissau 2-0 in the final round of group games to secure top spot in their group – ahead of Cameroon, who were held to a 0-0 draw by Benin – and book their place in the last 16. There they will face Tunisia at 21:00 CET on Monday. Kasim Adams did not feature in the aforementioned group game against Guinea-Bissau after receiving two bookings in the opening two group games.
